Security Guards are responsible for protecting people, property, and assets by maintaining a safe and secure environment. They prevent theft, monitor premises, control access, and respond to emergencies or suspicious activity.
Patrol and monitor premises on foot or via CCTV.
Control entry and exit points; check ID cards and passes.
Report suspicious activities and respond to alarms.
Assist in crowd control during events.
Maintain incident logs and security reports.
Provide first aid or emergency response if required.
Education:
Minimum 8th–12th pass (varies by employer).
Basic security training certification preferred.
Skills & Attributes:
Good observational skills.
Physical fitness and alertness.
Basic knowledge of security protocols.
Ability to communicate clearly and follow instructions.
Integrity, discipline, and reliability.
Additional Requirements:
For armed security roles: valid firearm license (if applicable).
Background verification and police clearance.
Unarmed Security Guard: ₹10,000–₹18,000/month.
Armed Security Guard: ₹18,000–₹30,000/month.
Overseas placements: ₹40,000–₹1,00,000+/month plus benefits.
