  • Ensure compliance with aviation safety regulations.

Terminal Operations (passenger & baggage flow):

  • Manage check-in counters, boarding gates, and baggage claim areas.

  • Handle passenger assistance and crowd management.

  • Coordinate with security, immigration, and customs.

Landside Operations (outside terminal):

  • Oversee parking areas, shuttle buses, and access roads.

  • Coordinate with city transport and emergency services.

Emergency & Incident Response:

  • Manage accidents, medical emergencies, and security threats.

  • Conduct safety drills and coordinate rescue services.


2️⃣ Educational & Eligibility Requirements (India context)

 

Basic Education:

  • 10+2 for entry-level positions.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Airport Management, Aviation Management, or related fields for officer/manager roles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Diploma/BBA/MBA in Aviation or Airport Operations.

  • Certification from IATA (International Air Transport Association) or ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization).
