Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation

  • Install heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.

  • Connect systems to electrical and fuel supply lines.

  • Test new installations for proper function.

2. Maintenance

  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance.

  • Clean coils, fans, and filters.

  • Check refrigerant levels and system pressures.

3. Troubleshooting & Repairs

  • Diagnose system malfunctions and inefficiencies.

  • Replace faulty parts (compressors, thermostats, motors, etc.).

  • Calibrate controls for accurate temperature regulation.

4. Safety & Compliance

  • Follow safety protocols while handling refrigerants.

  • Comply with environmental regulations (e.g., refrigerant disposal).

  • Maintain service records and reports.


Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma/ITI in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.

  • Skills:

    • Knowledge of HVAC systems and components.

    • Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.

    • Proficiency with tools and diagnostic equipment.

    • Problem-solving and customer service skills.

  • Licenses/Certifications:

    • F-Gas or EPA (for refrigerant handling, in some countries).

    • Local trade license (if required).


Salary (India):
