1. Installation
Install heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.
Connect systems to electrical and fuel supply lines.
Test new installations for proper function.
2. Maintenance
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
Clean coils, fans, and filters.
Check refrigerant levels and system pressures.
3. Troubleshooting & Repairs
Diagnose system malfunctions and inefficiencies.
Replace faulty parts (compressors, thermostats, motors, etc.).
Calibrate controls for accurate temperature regulation.
4. Safety & Compliance
Follow safety protocols while handling refrigerants.
Comply with environmental regulations (e.g., refrigerant disposal).
Maintain service records and reports.
Education: Diploma/ITI in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
Skills:
Knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
Proficiency with tools and diagnostic equipment.
Problem-solving and customer service skills.
Licenses/Certifications:
F-Gas or EPA (for refrigerant handling, in some countries).
Local trade license (if required).
