1. Guest Service
Greet customers, present menus, and make recommendations.
Take food and beverage orders accurately.
Serve dishes and drinks promptly.
2. Table Management
Prepare tables before guests arrive (cutlery, napkins, condiments).
Clear tables and reset them for the next customers.
3. Communication with Kitchen & Bar
Relay orders to kitchen/bar staff.
Ensure special requests or dietary needs are communicated.
4. Billing & Payments
Present the bill and process cash/card payments.
Handle any payment discrepancies politely.
5. Cleanliness & Hygiene
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area.
Follow food safety and hygiene protocols.
Education: No formal qualification required; basic hospitality training is preferred.

Ability to work under pressure during busy service.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for long hours, carry trays, and handle fast-paced service.
Entry-level: ₹10,000–₹18,000/month.
Experienced: ₹20,000–₹35,000/month (plus tips/service charge).
High-end hotels/cruise lines: ₹40,000–₹80,000+/month (plus tips).
